With all due respect to Amber, she was obviously involved in the LFL for all the wrong reasons which is why she is no longer on the Dallas Desire roster.

Every athlete not model, understands what it take to prepare for a football season and the grueling practice schedule. The LFL simply asks it athletes to put in the hardwork to be in position for a championship run.

Women that are involved for all the wrong reasons and simply want to show up on GameDays, simply weed themselves out of the league.

In relation to taking care of its athletes, the LFL has better overall treatment and perks than any women’s professional football league. LFL athletes have all expenses paid for (Airfare, Hotels, Meals, Uniforms, Equipment, Insurance etc.) – Not to mention the media attention that helps promote the athletes other ventures. On top of everything else our athletes are well compensated or rather those that put in the time to promote their team in the market.

the LFL does not ask our players to pay dues, host car washes to find the money to buy equipment and travel etc.

So overall, the LFL experience is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for those who put in the necessary work and not want everything handed to them.

We as a league understand we have to go throw some growing pains and understand how to have a better product on the field, which includes going through pretenders in finding real athletes.
