Personally, the only area where I see Felix as having a significant edge over Choice is pure speed, and that’s somewhat negated by his penchant for injury. Otherwise, I see TC as slightly more “natural” as a runner and receiver.

Regardless, I’d love to see either back get a game or three with 20-25 touches just to see what they can really do. Not a fan of all this “sharing” the RB load.

Just wanted to clarify something. I’m not saying that TC should definitely be the starter/primary back over Felix. I AM saying that, IMO, it should be a valid consideration.

Indeed, this is far more a Tashard Choice vote of support than any downgrading of Jones.

In fact, I truly believe that if both RB’s had approximately the same contract, Choice might well not be the last option in this RB triumvirate.

I agree…if all three RBs had the same contract, I would think Choice would be ahead of Barber on the depth chart. I actually wouldn’t at all be opposed to Choice starting and Jones maintaining his current role (just with slightly more touches).

IMO, Choice should be the short-yardage back as well this season, although I doubt it will happen.
