Sean: I was a big Lawrence Taylor and Harry Carson fan. I even wore #56 all through junior football and high school.

Maybe he is a BILB, big inside line backer. He’s faster than Spikes. He would be scary on special teams too. 4.81 ain’t too shabby at 295.
Haha he has the straight line speed to be a BILB, but I doubt his change of direction and hip fluidity are up to par. Can’t wait to see him inside (I actually think he will be best in Phillips’ scheme at NT rather than DE).

I just hope we don’t lose these young guys thru the waiver wire. Even risking it to me is not smart. Other teams will be looking for athletic players, with size, strength, and speed. Players like that IMO will be hard to clear and get on the P squad. Lissemore and McCann are my two biggest concerns. Waive the journeymen players and keep the young talent. I think we have the depth to cover it. NT is questionable. I’m thinking a DE could spell, Jay Rat. If he was injured, that might be a problem. So I’m saying rid ourselves of a DE rather than Siavii. We hhave the DE depth.
I am with you on retaining the young guys with higher upside, but no matter what there are going to be some good players who are on other teams this season. There is simply too much talent to sneak onto the practice squad. A player like McCann will have a tough time making the team, but not so much another team, for example.
